ENSEMBLE WORKS

The Disappointment Room

ATUM

Inspired by the symbolism of the Ouroborus, Atum explores the cyclical nature of destruction and recreation. Atum, an ancient Egyptian deity denotes 'the substance from which all creation unfurled'.

mYsteriouswaYs

This work is an emotionally evocative testament to the power of perseverance in moments of adversity, tribulation and uncertainty. It depicts a challenge of faith and the wonderful impact of surrendering to a higher power. With a lyrical passage in repetition like a chant or prayer, mYsteriouswaYs depicts pathways to healing, stimulated by one’s personal faith and will for survival.

Crossing Zone

This trio is the 2nd installation in a series of works that explores personal legacy and identity. Crossing Zone includes detailed accounts of a family’s impression of each member, anonymously. The similarities and candor revealed juxtaposes moments of sincerity and wit with compelling gestures and high velocity partnerwork.
